The problem that my tool is solving is that with the bulky EVA (Extravehicular activity) gloves it is nearly impossible to hold on to tools. If they float out of an astronaut’s reach it is still attached to a tool belt on their EVA suit, but it is very hard to get the tools back. This is a challenge because it can lead to extra hours of work and torque. This tool will bulk up the handle of another tool. After this is 3D printed, it has to have a strong fastener on its flat, smaller sides. It can be assembled in different shapes to fit different handles. It should be printed in ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic according to the Two For The Crew rules. This is two for the crew, hence the name, because it can become different sizes and shapes for the handles. This solves a major problem because if astronauts can’t do maintenance on the ISS (International Space Station), then the ISS couldn’t function.
