We used a "Wishing You a Happy Birthday" helium balloon. For the parachute we attached a coffee filter under the balloon. Then we made a little paper camera that we taped to the string of the balloon just about two inches under the parachute. Then we folded up a piece of paper to make it form into a box and the taped it together as a payload. In the payload, we put a satellite tracker, a thermometer, a flight computer, an audio beacon, and case to go around the camera. Then we cut little strands of paper and taped it to the bottom of the payload as our mount. Finally we taped the top of payload so that the stuff in the payload will not fly out when it gets launched. Our weather balloon ended to weigh 2.9 grams altogether.
