I made this pin to honor our veterans, like most people did, and to give a huge thank you to them for keeping our country safe! On one side there are less stars than the other, that is because a long time ago there were only 13 stars on the flag,to represent 13 colonies, then in 1795 they decided on 50 stars for each state. The stars on one side are in a rounded shape because the original flag had a circle of stars.
