My pin is meant to represent the medals gifted to veterans for their service. The American flag is meant to show how every veteran contributed to the freedom America now has. No matter how long they were in the military, every veteran matters and their service is appreciated. We would not have our freedom if it wasn't for every veteran who served, no matter if they got medals or lost a limb, their service mattered in some way.
