My veteran pin is shaped like a poppy with a heart in the center. This is because the poppy is a symbol of veterans and the heart is because we love our veterans. On the outer petals there are 3 stars each. These stand for the stars on the American flag. On the inner petals there are 3 stripes that stand for the stripes on the American flag. The number of stars and stripes on the pin don’t stand for anything.
