Veterans Pin

For my veteran pin I made the base the American flag to represent America and the service these veterans did to protect America and its citizens. Instead of the fifty star on the blue corner of the flag I made three symbols. These symbols are a heart, one star, and lastly a poppy flower. The heart symbolizes bravery and strength to not give up. I chose the heart because the veterans of America are brave, strong and choose not to give up in battle. The star represents protection and brightness. I chose the star because these veterans protected our country by risking their lives. Then lastly I chose the poppy flower, this flower symbolizes endurance of war. This flower is important to almost all veterans that have fought for our country before.
