Veterans Pin

I chose to make my pin represent a poppy because that is “America’s Flower.” Another reason I chose the poppy is because I think it is a beautiful way to represent America and our country. A put a star in the middle of the flower to represent all of the states in America. This also represents the stars in the American flag. I bumped out the leaves and made them different heights so that it looked like layering. After that, I cut the star out so that the star was cut into the design instead of popped out. I popped out some of the leaves so that you could tell they were there. I feel like this is very inspiring for Veterans day because the poppy is a symbol of the veterans that have fought, survived, and recovered.
