Lest We Forget Our Veterans

The design of this pin was chosen to serve as a reminder of the colors held dear to the American flag. The words, “Lest We Forget Our Veterans”, were put as the subject of the pin. These words describe the purpose of the design, to remember all the things veterans have done. These words help ring a bell of memory of people who serve or served this country. The colors of the pin are red, white, and blue. The traditional colors of white, blue, and red give a symbolic feel to it. White for purity and innocence, blue for vigilance, perseverance, and justice, and red for hardiness and valor. Overall, the pin’s design sums up the words of what we must never do.
