The two flags on the veteran’s pin form a V, as to represent Veterans themselves. The two flags are forming the V, to represent the freedom the veterans have granted everyone for sacrificing their lives in war. The green at the bottom of the pin is to represent grass. The flags are supposed to be semi-buried in the grass to also represent those who had risked their lives, but no longer walk these grounds anymore. The pin itself, which is a circle, is meant to represent the earth in a way. Dull, but free. The numbers at the bottom of the pin, twenty-twenty-one, are to be the year of this year’s veteran’s day. The numbers themselves were placed until the flag-shaped V to read out, ‘Veterans 2021’. Putting the whole pin together, it is a representation for veterans and an appreciation for them.
