Veterans Day Pin

The Veteran’s Day pin has a purple base with a flower in the middle, surrounded by white stars. The color purple symbolizes all branches of the military. Which are, the Army green, Marine and Navy red, and Air Force and Coast Guard blue. The flower in the center is the red poppy, it reminds Americans of the sacrifices Veterans have made for their country, while fighting for freedom. The white stars around this flower represent the white stars on the American flag. The color white signifies innocence and purity. Red is for hardiness and valor. We should all respect Veterans for their hardiness and valor. they willingly go out to the battlefield knowing they may never come back. This is why the pin says “Thank you,” if brave Veterans did not risk their lives, Americans would not have their freedom.
