Appreciating our Heros

Every part of this pin has a certain symbolic meaning. The purple heart is the national symbol for all military personnel. Therefore, that is the base of the pin and not something representing one branch because all veterans should be honored. “Red, White, Blue” is written since the American flag is red and white stripes ,with white stars on a blue background in the corner. The flag is especially important to the US military because they are fighting for, and risking their lives for that flag. The “Brave'' is written to symbolize the veterans. It takes a lot of courage to willingly put yourself through war for your country. Lastly, the stars are on the pin to represent the stars on the American flag, and that veterans are the stars of not only Veteran’s Day, but the country. Their sacrifices are tremendously appreciated and will forever be remembered.
