Strength and Courage

I chose to make a pin with an eagle because an eagle is like the mascot for our country. An eagle is one of the first things you think about when thinking about the U.S. Eagles are used to symbolize courage and strength and Veterans Day is about the strength and courage Veterans had while sacrificing their lives. So, I got inspired to add an eagle to my pin. To me, Veterans Day is about giving our thanks to the people who have dedicated their lives to help defend this country. I hope my pin makes a Veteran feel happy because they have so much strength and courage.
