Heart 2001 Pin

The fight in Afghanistan hits fairly close to home, as the United States have been sending troops since at least 2001. Many Veterans have unjustly lost their lives both recently and in the past. I find it incredibly discouraging to hear that officers have lost their lives on the way back to our country, and so I wanted to memorialize all people whom have lost their lives or fought in the name of our country, especially in Afghanistan. Another reason I decided to make it for 2001, is for 9/11, which was a horrible national emergency, but brave officers and first responders were able to rescue thousands of people.
