There is a US flag, fireworks, stars, and the word Veterans Day. The reason the pin is like this is because we are honoring Veterans Day which was called Armistice Day in light of November 11, 1918 at 5 AM which changed to Veterans Day since we didn’t want to just honor the veterans who fought in WW1 but all wars and all personnel serving in the Army. The flag is used to represent the American Flag for freedom and rights, the stars are used to symbolize independence, the fireworks are used to celebrate happiness and liberty, and the tombstone is to honor all the soldiers who died fighting and to honor the soldiers buried at the tomb of the unknown soldier. All of these components on the pin symbolize an independent country with freedom of speech and everything if it weren't for these veterans who risked their lives.
