Veteran pin

My Veterans Day pin is a blue octagon with red letters and white stripes I chose these color and patterns because of the American flag design. The words on the pin say “thank you for your service”. Next to the red letters are ten white stripes that are aligned with the words and the octagon.I tried to make the pin small but not too small so that it was just the right size. The hardest part of the pin was the stripes because it is hard to get the stripes the right size and shape.I had the idea for the pin from the American flag and the service that veterans do for our country. I learned about the contest from my teacher who instructed me and my class on how to turn in the pin and what requirements we had to meet.
