Veteran Pin

The shape of my pin includes an American flag within a gold heart surrounded by a white ring. The ring has the words “We are Grateful” on it, intending to remind veterans that they are appreciated and we recognize their service. The flag and the heart are meant to signify the same basic concept of appreciation. The ring is supposed to be more for one person, while the flag and heart focus more on a larger group. The heart's color is gold because it felt right. The ring is white because it matches the other colors, and the letters are inlaid because it looked better than my other designs. Overall, my pin is meant to be general and given to everyone.
