Veterans Day pin

For my Veterans Day pin, I chose to do an American flag, with a small poem as the white stripes. I chose instead of doing stars on the blue background I chose to put in the words You Are Our STAR. I put this on the front of this flag/pin because to me it represents the fact that they risked their lives to fight for their country, our home. I wrote the poem as the white stripes on the flag, because I believe that this poem represents the fact that they tried their hardest and risked their lives for our freedom, independence and liberty. This pin means to me that we have respect and honor for the veterans who served our country, this Veterans Day and all year round.
