Veteran’s Day Shield

My Veteran’s Day pin is small but when I thought of a pin, I thought of a lapel pin. There are also many symbols within the pin. The shield represents protection in the way that these people put their life on the line to protect us. The stripes with the star in the middle represents the American Flag but I did the giant star instead of the small ones so the stars would be visible instead of a bunch of bumps. The crosses represent that these veterans also protected the freedom of religion that we have in the US. I added the element of the dog tags because it is something that goes with every branch and I feel like it is a creative way to say thank you. I am very thankful for these people and am thankful for this chance to return a tiny portion of the favor.
