For my pin, I used a circle as my base with a large dip in the middle. Inside the dip, I have a bald eagle (It looks like a turkey) in flight coming out from the side to represent our state symbol. In front of the eagle there are a couple stars to show part of the American flag, and on the top of the outer layer there are the words “Thank You Veterans!” I chose those words because veteran’s day is all about thanking and appreciating veterans. I am choosing the color blue because that represents freedom, inspiration, calm, and intelligence as well as depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, and faith. Not only that, but blue is represented on the American flag in the upper left corner to symbolize the 50 states in the U.S.
