Veteran pin description

My pin is to symbolize the bravery of veterans and the sacrifices that they made in order to keep us safe. The pin has 2 stripes to symbolize the color of the flag, the flag symbolizes the freedom and bravery of our nation. At the center of the pin I put a star, the star symbolizes how special these veterans are and the respect that we should give them. The star also represents how there is a shining sense of bravery in veterans, they gave their lives to help us live a peaceful life. This is what my pin represents, the bravery and passion from our nation is what veterans gave their lives for.
