Veterans pin

At first when I was told that we would be doing a pin for veterans I thought of an American flag, Stars, and a quote. I have been trying to do a design that other students haven't done, but that's a pretty difficult task seeing how many people are making pins. Firstly, I chose an American flag in the background. I chose that detail because I believe that's an important part of veterans appreciation. Secondly, I put a big yellow star in the middle. I thought it was necessary because of the stars on the flag. I thought the two would complement each other. Lastly, I chose a “Thank you” across the pin because I think it was a good message to send to veterans.
