Veterans Day Pin - "The Fort'

This badge and its elements illustrate and honor parts of our armed forces and their experiences. There are walls around the fort, to show that America is our country and not a playground for hostile powers. Wooden towers are placed around the wall, to honor the things you've seen, and the horrors you've witnessed. A road stretches across the ground inside the walls, to represent the thousands of miles you've traveled to serve your country. There are houses built inside the walls, to show the millions of families you protect. The tree represents those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. An airfield to show how you had to leave your family to the call of duty. There are tents placed along a short dirt road, to represent the conditions you've experienced. Lastly, a duck pond filled with ducks, to honor your efforts back home during times of disaster.
