Thank You to all Veterans

On my pin, I have three figures of soldiers saluting on top of an American flag, with a light blue background. It also has the words “Thank You” above the flag and “Veterans” below the flag and soldiers. I chose to have an American flag because veterans served for America and they fought for the American country and the people in it. The colors that the American flag represents also describe veterans: red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance, and justice. Each of those traits describes veterans. I added soldiers saluting because veterans are soldiers who have or currently serve in the military to protect America. When you salute someone, you are showing them respect or you are honoring them. I hope the pins we created will show veterans how much we appreciate them and how grateful we are for their service.
