My Veteran’s service pin includes a shield with a red and white checkered pattern with a blue heading on top. I decided to choose the shield outline because it represents people protecting themselves and people protecting the country. I made it into a checkered pattern to represent an old and classy design. Old because it represents the people protecting their old nation, and classy to represent all veterans should be respected for their service. I chose the blue heading, first of all, to have the 3 colors of the American flag on the shield and to have space to write something up there. I chose to write U.S FORCES to show that all forces should be recognized for their service and protection of the country.
