We care about Veterans pin

On the pin I created I put We care about Veterans in red on a blue octagon with a white star below. I chose the colors red, white, and blue because they represent the colors on the American flag. Then I chose a star to also represent the white stars on the flag. I chose to put We care about Veterans because veterans went through a lot to fight for our country and give us freedom. Some veterans now suffer from PTSD. Some of them are homeless and some of them rarely ever see their families. Telling veterans that we care about them and that we're thankful for what they've done really does mean a lot to them.
