Veterans pin dog tags

This pin was created with the intention of showing thanks and honoring the veterans to show that we love and appreciate them. The message I am hoping to share with my veteran when looking at my pin is to show them that we appreciate and respect them and that we love them. I designed my pin as a chain of dog tags because it shows what the military wears to show their name, Social Security number, blood type, and religious belief. I choose to put a heart in it to show them we love them. I choose the colors red, white, and blue to show, white signifies purity and innocence; red signifies hardiness and valor; and blue signifies vigilance, perseverance, and justice.
