The National Shield

The pin I plan on submitting resembles a shield, showing the protection America’s veterans give to the nation. In the center there is one bold fist waving an American flag, intended to represent the strength and patriotism of America and its veterans. In the top there are three stars to honor our nation, and around the fist are the branches of the military listed: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, and the Coast Guard. All of these branches perform their duty, keeping our great country safe. I talk about freedom, sacrifice, courage, duty, honor, and trust, all qualities these brave soldiers hold when going to battle. The words ‘WE ARE THE GREATEST’, and ‘THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE’ are inscribed in the mainframe. This pin shows my patriotism, and my salute and gratitude to veterans.
