On my Veterans day pin, I chose to make the main focus color purple. The color purple not only shows support for military children and raises awareness about their sacrifices but it also is a combination of all 6 U.S. military branches colors. The branches and colors include Army green, Navy blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, Coast Guard blue, and Space Force dark blue. I have also included in my pin, poppy flowers. Poppies represent remembrance and death. They also represent the sacrifices veterans have made to protect and serve our country. I also added “Thank You Veterans” in red, white, and blue because the colors represent the U.S. colors and express how thankful we are for the sacrifices, bravery, leadership, and perseverance that veterans show every day.
