The star has 6 transitions of red and white symbolizing the 6 branches of the military. The American flag star is designed to show how all veterans protected us in wars or other cases. The sun is representing how the veterans saved us like the sun gives us life in a way saving us. Lastly the purple pin is the color of veterans.
