Heart of gratitude

The pin is meant to make the veterans feel a type of joyous feeling in their own hearts and to know that we are so proud of them as they are off in war or even have been through much trauma in life. Veterans, to me, are humans who are braver than we could ever believe. I hope my pin shows that a shield is a form of protection against war, slavery, take over, and so much more than we could ever think of from the pin is a symbol of bravery, courage, fearlessness, and even confidence. The color yellow is a symbol of happiness, the color white for me is the afterlife black the symbol of death but I don't take it as a bad thing since it can teach us so much and tells us to keep pushing no matter what the causes are in life.
