loved veterans

The design is meant to show that we appreciate the veterans that are inactive military, ones that have come home, and ones that have sadly passed. The message I am trying to state is that we appreciate them, that the veterans know that they are loved for what they do or have done for us. I chose the base to be a shield because veterans protect the freedom of our country and the shield can be a symbol of protection. I decided on the words to say, “Thank You” because they should know that we are thankful for their service. I chose the flag because of the colors and what they represent, red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance, and also justice. To all veterans, thank you for your service and what you have done for your country.
