In my Veterans pin, I included red stripes, white stripes, and a blue stripe on top. The blue stripe represents the justice, vigilance, and perseverance of our country. Under that, there are a total of 13 stripes, including 7 red stripes, and 6 white stripes, just like on our American flag. The red represents the hardiness, valor, and the blood shed by those who have fought and protected our freedom and our country. On the other hand, the white represents purity and innocence. The red, white, and blue represent the colors of the American flag. The eagle at the bottom of the pin is there because it represents the American National Bird, the bald eagle. “Veteran Power” is there because Veterans are important because they have served our country. They have risked their lives just so we can have freedom. They are the real heroes!
