Veterans Day Pin

The purpose of this pin is to invoke a sense of reassurance and allow the veterans to feel honored and remembered by all people, no matter their age. My hope is that they understand all of the gratitude and love our generation has for them. I designed my pin as a heart, to show the love and gratefulness for their efforts to keep us safe at home. The background of the heart is the American flag to symbolize that through all of the work, day in and day out, they are still doing this for America and its families. I have a red Poppy on my pin to symbolize the remembrance of all of the sacrifices they've made. Lastly, I wrote, "Lest We Forget" on my pin which is often used with the red poppy to show that no one, no matter how old, will remember what they have done.
