Thank You Veterans

My pin’s design is a rhombus divided in 4 parts, each part has a different symbol with distinct meanings. The U.S. flag, to demonstrate respect towards American soldiers. A purple heart, to represent the Purple Heart Medal, which is awarded to members of the armed forces of the U.S. who are wounded by an instrument of war in the hands of the enemy. The Peace symbol, which represents nuclear disarmament, I made it to respect the soldiers that died fighting to protect peace. A sunrise in an empty, dry battlefield, symbolizing “No Man’s Land.” This pin was created with the intention of letting our veterans know how much we love them and appreciate all of the sacrifices they had to make along the way, to protect peace.
