Veteran's pin

My pin has a red and white striped pattern that is similar to the one on the United States flag. The red also is a representation of blood. It represents the lives that were lost and people that were injured in the military. I think it is truly honorable and courageous for the people in the military to risk their bodies, lives, and in many cases their mental health. My pin also includes camouflage at the top. Camouflage is worn by many members of the U.S. military. It is worn to help them stay hidden and to blend in with their surroundings. I also included boot prints at the bottom. Those represent how a lot of the people in the military were away from their families and people that they love because of being deployed. Events like holidays and birthdays are events people usually spend with their families.
