Veteran Pin

My Veteran pin is similar to the United States flag but has a different shape and no stars. My flag is in the shape of a medal. The shape could be described as an obtuse isosceles triangle attached to the bottom of a square. On my pin, I have 13 red and white stripes, like the normal United States flag. Each stripe represents one of the original colonies. The stripes are below a blue rectangle at the top of the medal. In the blue shaded area, I have words saying, "Thank You". The "Thank You" is for all the sacrifices that Veterans made for our country and all the things that they had to go through in difficult times.
