My pin that I made has thirteen red stripes in the background to represent the first thirteen colonies. At the very top I have the words, “Thank you, Veterans, for your service and sacrifice”. I put those words on my pin to honor and acknowledge Veterans and all the things they had to do to protect us. Below that I have a Bald Eagle, the symbol of America, carrying an olive branch for peace and kindness . In the eagle's talons it's holding thirteen arrows representing war and the fight it took to get us the freedom we have today. Thank you, Veterans for serving America.
