Recognition

We celebrate veterans because they are the reason for our freedom. Without them we wouldn't have the wonderful country we have today. Veterans have worked and been through a lot for our country and its people. Veterans don’t receive the recognition they deserve. On my pin I wrote a simple phrase saying, “Thank you for our freedom.” I felt as if this phrase would help them feel recognized and make them realize how much appreciation I have for them. The words are in red white and blue because those are our country's colors. I hope that my pin can display to veterans that I appreciate them as well as many others. I hope that my pin can help the veterans feel the recognition they deserve. I hope my pin can display to the veterans that they saved us and that without them our home would not be what it is.
