Veterans Pin

The elements I chose for my pin were influenced greatly by what I believed would mean the most to veterans. Because of this, the colors I choose for my pin are red, white, and blue. The significance of this to veterans is that it signifies the flag of the country that they sacrificed so much to protect. This is also the reason I chose a star for my design. The star is used on the American flag to signify the union of states that keeps the United States together. This is important to veterans because it reminds them of the union that they sacrificed so much to protect. My design also includes stripes of red, these are meant to signify the hardiness and valor that the troops showed while they were deployed and fighting to protect us and our freedoms.
