Thanks to the Brave!

My pin symbolizes freedom and hope, as well as gratitude to our Veterans. Two of my grandfathers fought during WWII. I chose the American flag because of what it represents. The stripes stand for the original 13 Colonies and the stars represent our 50 States. The colors of our flag also have symbolism. Red stands for hardiness and valor, white is for purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice. I chose the words, “Land of the Free, Thanks to the Brave” because my mom made my brother and me shirts this year for the 4th of July with those words. They are very powerful words. We are HERE thanks to the men and women - and their families - who have sacrificed for our freedom. This pin is a way to show my thanks to all of our Veterans. I hope they will wear it with pride.
