Pin for Veterans

My pin design is for all veterans, no matter what branch they were/are in, or whether or not they have faced combat. Something that might have a special meaning for the veterans is the laurel wreath. The laurel wreath symbolizes honor and achievement. Veterans should feel proud that they have defended or are defending our country. In the design there is also text saying, “PROUD TO BE A SOLDIER”. This text was included because all veterans who have served or are serving in the military should be proud of what they are doing. The background color is black, which symbolizes all military personnel who were lost in combat. The color of the laurel wreath and text is gold so that the veterans feel empowered and honored. It also symbolizes the light at the end of a battle or war.
