Star Spangled Pin

The reason I made this pin the way I did is because of the things I had on my pin that I felt represented my grandfather a little bit. My grandfather fought in the Vietnam war. All of these things represent my grandfather because all things I put on there symbolize something. The star symbolizes the rank of people. The stripes in general represent the struggle for independence. Specifically, the red stripes of the American flag represent valor, and the white stripes represent purity. The blue on the American flag represents loyalty that the veterans have to the country. The dimensions of the pin are 60mm for length, 60mm for width, and 4mm for height. Even the colors represent something. Red represents courage, blue represents truth, and white represents deeds that are worthy of remembrance. Everything represents something that is seen in a veteran and is a good character trait.
