Creating the Future

This is a pin I made to commemorate the Veterans. I wanted the pin to be heart-shaped to show our love for them. The phrase engraved on my design, “You created the future”, means they paved the way for us to be successful in life and gave us our freedom. My grandfather was a Vietnam Veteran so he inspired my design because I really wouldn't be here without him. We share the same first and last names through three generations (Grandpa, Dad, and myself) so without his service I doubt that I would even be here today. This piece shows my love for Veterans and my thanks for their service.
