Chevron Veteran Pin

I designed my pin with the chevron symbol created by Tai and Rosita Missoni. This symbol in the military signifies rank and protection. I also put “L.D.R.S.H.I.P.” because those are the Army's values. I put “Be All You Can Be” because that is one of the Army’s sayings. For colors, I used red, white, black, and blue. Red means courage, zeal, and fortitude, blue means loyalty, perseverance, truth, and vigilance, white alludes to deeds worthy of remembrance, and black means determination and constancy. I designed my pin to honor and appreciate the army and all of the military who protect us and our country. I used a symbol that means protection, colors that mean different traits a soldier has, and sayings that show the Army’s values.
