Together We Stand

The people represent veterans and standing at the flag is a way of showing pride and value of their work. Helicopters symbolize the ability to rise above the occasion. Each helicopter has a branch of the military on it showing that, one way or another, they all end up working together to rise above the occasions that come their way. Without the help of all the branches standing together, we would not have the freedom we have now, even through all the storms we have encountered, which is why I added the lightning bolts and blue background. It shows that through the storms and rain, come blue skies. The purple heart on the pin represents an appreciation for all of the people who have been injured or lost their lives while sacrificing themselves for our freedom.
