Veterans should be honored because they risked their life just to save us. They should also be honored because they saved our country. Veterans are amazing people who fought for our freedom and are one of the bravest people I know. I chose the star to represent the stars on the American flag. I made the whole thing an American flag to represent that they fought for us and our country. I used the color red because it represents valor and bravery. I also used the color white because it means truce and surrender.
