My veterans pin is about honoring the veterans that served for our country. Veterans should be honored because they put themselves in danger to keep us safe, veterans did that for our freedom and put their lives in danger and go through years of training and years of fighting. I chose the star for one of my symbols because they are stars for being brave enough to go do scary things like going into war and being out there.
