Veterans should be honored because they served and protected our country so we don't have to worry about having to get killed every day. Another reason why veterans should be honored is because they sacrifice and take time from their family just to help everyone else. I only used one symbol so The one symbol I used was the American flag. The flag stands for freedom and justice. Another thing the flag stands for is liberty. One of the colors I used was blue. The blue on the flag stands for vigilance, perseverance, and justice. Another color that i used was the red stripes the red stripes stand for hardiness and valor
