Always Faithful

Veterans should be honored everyday for their hard work and sacrifice. They sacrificed their lives, their family, their freedom, just to give us the freedom we have today. The least people could do for veterans is honor them for everything they have done for us. The two symbols on my pin are the star and the statement “Always Faithful”. The star represents the 50 stars on the American flag and the statement “Always Faithful” is the English version of the latin phrase “Semper Fidelis” for the marine corp emblem that is graced. Two colors I've picked is white and red. The red represents the red on the American flag that stands for hardiness and valor. The white also represents the white on the American flag that means purity and innocence
