Courage

They need to be honored because veterans risk their lives to go and fight for what is right and they go away from their families for who knows how long for your freedom. They constantly are overlooked because we just expect to be free but without veterans life would be very different. I used a heart to symbolize how the love of families was lost or almost lost because of the bravery of some people. I used indents in the background to symbolize the battlefield and how they needed to dig into the ground for a little bit of safety. I used red for the courage it took to fight. I used white to symbolize that they are remembered.
